Detailed Descriptions for Resolved Issues

L00044893 Plot optimization discards duplicate values, distorting the plot for "Line" mode pens in some cases

The default behavior is to discard duplicate values. To enable plotting of duplicate values, add the following entry to the win.ini file:
[HistClient]
KeepAllTrendPoints = 1

Back to Resolved Issues

L00047431 Verisign certificates for the Microsoft Office add-ins expired on 2/18/2006. You cannot use ActiveFactory unless the security level for macros is lowered

The add-ins are now correctly signed, and an expired certificate does not prevent you from using the add-ins.

Back to Resolved Issues

L00047500 A single PerDevice license is not sufficient to run the ActiveFactory RWS Server in stand-alone mode

If the ActiveFactory desktop applications are installed on the computer, a client session can now be established with the ActiveFactory Reporting Website without consuming a server license.

Back to Resolved Issues

L00047729 When you open an ActiveFactory Trend, it opens previously opened trends windows as well as a new empty trend window

Solution: In addition to installing the patch, Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 needs to be installed to solve this problem.

Back to Resolved Issues

L00048387 Browser clients that have the ActiveFactory desktop installed consume and require a concurrent user license on the web server

With the patch applied, a client session on a machine that has an installation of ActiveFactory desktop applications is able to connect to a RWS server without consuming a server license.

Known Issues

L00048125  ActiveFactory ActiveX controls that are published on the SuiteVoyager Server are not shown for the SuiteVoyager clients.

Workaround: To view ActiveFactory ActiveX controls in SuiteVoyager 2.6, add the SuiteVoyager URL to the Trusted Sites list.

L00048816  Publishing a static or scheduled report fails with if you are using a non-English version of Microsoft Office 2003 SP2.

Problem: You cannot publish a static or scheduled report successfully using a non-English version of Microsoft Office 2003 SP2. The reports do not appear under the Published Reports node in the tree. You must install a hotfix package from Microsoft to resolve this problem.

Workaround: Follow the instructions in Microsoft Knowledge Database article #912022 at http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx/kb/912022/ to install the required hotfix.

L00044757 If Microsoft .NET Framework 2.0 is installed, the ActiveFactory Reporting Website client controls (Trend, Query, Tag Picker) do not resize when you resize the Internet Explorer. Also, the navigation pane cannot be resized.

Workaround: Configure the machine level CAS policy to provide full trust (FullTrust) to the entire web site. Be aware that all assemblies downloaded from the site are given full trust, and you must add a new code group for each and every site that web users navigate to. Also, you must be running with at least power user permissions to make these changes.
